Pitbull Funny Moments -93

The American Bully'',' also known as the Bully Pit, Bully Pitbull' ,  and American Bully Pit, is a breed of domestic dog (Canis lupus familiaris). This dog originated from the American Pit Bull Terrier, the American Staffordshire Terrier, and other bulldog and mastiff breeds. The American Bully was created in the 1990s by people that wanted more out of the American Pit Bull Terrier. They wanted a calmer tempermant, a more bulky appearance, and less animal aggression. Unlike most new breeds, the American Bully was bred by many different people with their own visions of what the dog should look like. It wasn't until the American Bully Kennel Club (ABKC) was formed did they all come together. Because of this odd start, the American Bully can vary greatly in looks. There are currently 4 size classes for the American Bully. The Standard class has females that are 16-19 inches tall, while males are 17-20 inches tall. The Classic has the same height measurements as the Standard, but the dogs are leaner and more like American Staffordshire Terriers or APBTs. The Pocket class has females at 13-16 inches and males at 14-17 inches. The XL class has females at 19-22 inches and males at 20-23 inches. There was an Extreme class for dogs with overdone features like short legs and short muzzles, but it was removed due to unhealthy dogs.

Along with other Pit Bulls, it is labeled as one of the most aggressive breeds due to attacks on people and other dogs. However, not all of these are unprovoked.
